Your growth ledger

Why this page exists

Anybody can claim a programme is worth more than it costs. This one has to prove it in your numbers, or the claim is worthless.

Every strategy carries a calculator built out of that week’s own challenge. You enter the figures you were already told to measure. This page adds them up, compounds them the way Jay’s geometry says they compound, and sets the total beside what you paid.

How the arithmetic works, so you can argue with it

Produced is money you have actually seen, in your own records. Each calculator asks for the two or three figures that week's challenge already made you write down, and multiplies them the way that strategy produces money. Nothing is estimated on your behalf and nothing defaults to a flattering number.

Still on the table is the same arithmetic applied to what you have not claimed yet — the dormant buyers who have not come back, the partners agreed but not run, the benchmark you found and have not closed. It is not a forecast. It is the identical calculation with the unclaimed half of your own figures in it.

Compounded lift multiplies rather than adds, and that is not a flourish. Four separate ten per cent gains on different parts of a business are sixty-one per cent, not forty, because each one operates on the result of the last. It is the whole argument of week twelve and of Chapter 6, The Geometry of an Exponential, and it is the reason small gains you were about to abandon are worth keeping.

What this page will never do

Fill itself in. Round in your favour. Count a benchmark you found as money you made — week eight reads zero produced on purpose for exactly that reason, and moves only when you close the gap.

If your ledger says the programme has not paid for itself yet, that is what it will say, and that is the point of having one.

Taking it to your pod, and to us

Copy my ledger puts the whole thing on your clipboard as plain text — every strategy, every figure, the totals. Bring it to Friday. It is also what we would ask you for if you ever wanted to tell somebody else whether this was worth doing.

Your coach can already see these totals, which is the point: the conversation at week twelve starts from what the quarter actually produced rather than from how it felt.
